3 Ways To Style A Turtleneck

3 Ways To Style A Turtleneck

Turtlenecks are one of my favorite fall and winter essential! They can be worn with almost anything and come in so many different styles; from fitted to oversized. My favorite turtlenecks are oversized sweaters but for this post, I chose 3 different types so I could give you 3 ways to style a turtleneck!

I mostly see people wear turtlenecks with jeans but, you could honestly pair it with any bottom, skirt, or dress. My go-to turtleneck look is to pair it with some mom jeans but I’m currently loving it on a cute skirt! I know most people don’t like wearing skirts during the cold weather but, as I always say, pair them with something heavier and warm!

Ps I was having fun taking these photos earlier so, enjoy!

Outfit One

3 Ways To Style A Turtleneck

This first outfit, I was going for a stylish, professional work look. There’s this notion that professional workwear has to be button-downs and slacks or slim pencil skirts but no! As long as you’re covered up (and obviously if you’re office doesn’t have *strict* dress codes) a turtleneck can be very professional. I mean, it hides all cleavage and while making you look spicy.

No lie, this look made me actually miss going into the office and stunting on my co-workers! Just kidding. To finish off this look, I’d pair it with some white pumps.

Top: Grey H&M Turtleneck

Bottom: Pink Forever 21 Skirt

Outfit Two

This second outfit is one that is more casual and an everyday look. I would pair this with my white high-top converses and a crossbody bag or a mini bag. Or, if I wanted to spice things up (if I’m going out to eat or something) I’d pair it with some cute chunky heeled booties! The coat adds oomph.

Top: Blue H&M Turtleneck (similar)

Bottoms: Thrifted Mom Jeans

Coat: Camel Primark Coat

Outfit Three

This final outfit is one that could be worn anywhere honestly. I could see myself wearing it to work, to lounge, or just out and about. I love cute, comfortable pants and honestly, this is the perfect ‘at home but I’m trying to look cute’ look! That has been my go-to look this entire quarantine.

Top: Thrifted Striped Turtleneck

Pants: Thrifted High Waisted Red Pants

That is all for this post! I hope that you enjoyed this post, which is your favorite look?
