I love taking photos and adding cute and aesthetic edits to them! I love filters, stickers, and including a ton of different elements. As a content creator, our photos are one of the biggest tools that help us grow so, they have to look good and thankfully, we live in a time where doing so isn’t hard. There are plenty of apps out there to help and assist us in all areas of life but today I will be focusing on 5 photo apps to make your pictures look amazing!
I love Lightroom, it is my partial number one, go-to editing app. Lightroom is run by Adobe, and it comes with a ton of features and functions to make your photos look great. You can add filters, edit the size, sharpen and lighten it, add color to your photos, and even remove certain elements. Another plus is that the majority of content creators who develop their own presets, make them available for lightroom and if you don’t use a preset, you should definitely change that this year!

Presets are filters that make your photo have a theme, look better, and just make it your own. I like my presets ti look warm, bright, and just a vibe and Lightroom does the trick.
VSCO is another app (my other partial number one) that is similar to Lightroom. It also allows you to choose a preset for your photos, edit them but also, it has a photo diary and is basically a social media app. It’s not as popular as Instagram and Facebook but a lot of photographers and graphic designers use this to share their pictures. My current Instagram photo theme is a VSCO filter and I am loving the more toned-down warmth.
Photo lab is a great app for adding cute edits; such as cartoon looks and other quirky elements. I like using this app if I’m trying to get a cartoon look for a specific post. I normally use the edits on my stories but I do post a few onto my feed.
PicsArt is another editing app, however, it’s more aesthetic in my opinion. If you frequent “stan Twitter,” you’ve probably seen a lot of edits of celebrities, and most people create them on this app. Also, the recent Vogue Magazine challenge trend was created on this app! There are a ton of cute, quirky, and cool stickers and themes that you can add to your photos to make them stick out.
Lastly, A Color Story app is great for making the colors in your photos pop! This app also has presets but, I personally like using it when I’m trying to make a certain color dominant in my photos. You can do a lot more on this app so, definitely check it out.
