Festive Holiday Makeup Look

Festive Holiday Makeup Look

Merry Christmas Eve, beautiful people! I can’t believe that we are at Christmas Eve already! This year zoomed by (pun intended!) Tomorrow is Christmas Day and it is time to (safely) have fun! I’m not a makeup guru, I mean, still can’t do my eyeshadow properly but, I still decided to create this festive holiday makeup look! Whether you’re staying home alone, gathering with a few family and friends, or doing a virtual get together, I think it will all do us good to get dressed up and feel jolly! I know dressing up makes me feel better so why not go all out tomorrow?

As I said, I am not a makeup artist and I honestly don’t wear makeup as much. I usually beat my face 1-3 times a year. However, I tried with this look! I tried to give you all a cute, festive look as best as I could. Sadly, most of my personal items are stuck in Spain so, a lot of the makeup that I used are items that I’ve had since high school, from my sister, or some that I’ve recently picked up.

Step One

After my comforting skincare routine, the first thing that I always do is my eyebrows! My eyebrows are my pride…just kidding. But, I love my brows, they’re thick, have a nice arch and I honestly do my brows and leave the house as my everyday makeup routine. I fill it in, put concealer around it, then the gel.

Step Two

The next thing that I did is my eyeshadow. I prefer to do my eyeshadow before putting on foundation because, if I make a mess, it’s easy to clean it up. I used the rose Palette; that I got from Marshalls a few years back, an older Sephora Palette, and my red NYX lipstick because the red in the Pallette wasn’t as vibrant. I used a mixture of red, green, and a champagne color with sparkles for added effect!

Step Three

After my eyeshadow is complete, I put on my foundation! This step is simple and easy. I use a little and dab it into my skin.

Step Four

Once my foundation is pressed into my skin enough, I conceal! In addition to concealer, I also contour. I put both products in all the areas that you’re supppsed to hit; forehead, nose, chin, cheeks and other highlighting areas. Afterward, I use some powder to sort of bake everything in.

Step Five

After baking and blending everything in, I put on my blush and then highlighter. Blush is one of my favorite products because I love to make my cheeks all rosy and cute. I love highlighter but I only use a little because a little goes a long way. I know it’s a trend to make yourself look like a glazed donut but eh. To each their own.

Step Six

Before spraying everything down, I apply my lipstick! I love lipstick, it is my second everyday thing to do other than my eyebrows. Once my lipstick is applied, I put on my finishing spray, and voila, I’m ready for the day.
