If you’re someone who reads this blog, then you know that I am all about improving myself as an influencer but also, helping you guys out as well! I am constantly doing blog courses, reading articles on blogging, and learning how to properly become an influencer and make a living through it. I am currently taking the LadyBossBlogger course: How To Make Money As An Influencer course and absolutely love it! I genuinely loved this course because I found it to be different than most. The problem I usually have with courses is the fact that they don’t go in-depth, they don’t include enough visual aspects, they don’t break everything down– this course covers it all! I actually felt like I was receiving a tell-all guide on how to properly conduct my blog and how to make it in this industry.
Working with brands and getting sponsored posts is definitely every influencer’s goal. This can be scary especially if you’re an influencer with not too many followers but, after this course, I definitely feel more confident to reach out. I also enjoyed how she expertly explained everything, broke it down, and gave examples and tips of what to include when reaching out.
- Making A Media Kit
I constantly see other bloggers and influencers talk about creating a media kit but never exactly understood what that was or how to go about creating one. This course definitely highlighted that and explained what it was and what we should include in our kits. Also, I didn’t even know that Canva had a media kit template and I’m always on Canva!
- Example Rate Card
Thissss! Guys, I have gotten emails from brands or people in the past who wanted me to do something sponsored for them and I never knew what number to give them! I loved the little chart she included, that listed out what to charge for certain posts, how much to charge for a certain number of posts, and how much to charge based on your follower and engagement count. That was super helpful and is definitely something that a lot of people don’t give insight into.
- Audience Connection
Connecting with your audience and creating an online community of supporters is super important because they’re the ones who are going to help you succeed. She included a chart that said boomers, gen x, Millenials, and gen z, that included topics they’re interested in, This was the first time I saw someone do this and I loved it! I mean, she wrote out how to write eye-catching titles for those age groups, how to expertly grasp their attention and keep them as readers, and much more.
- Different Ways Of Making Money
Not only does it mention brand deals and sponsorships but it talks about how to properly use affiliate marketing and creating products and simply just other ways of making money online. When you’re starting out, it can feel frustrating so, this helped in figuring out different ways to get to the move on!
Other things I loved was that she included downloadable things like editorial calendars and a social media calendar, a list of websites for sponsored opportunities, a bonus section which gave insight to youtube and podcasting and so much more!
