7 Most Stylish Fictional Characters

You know when you’re watching a show and a character comes on the screen and you go “oooh, yes girl!” That is me all the time. There are so many fashionable characters throughout the years in television and film that I gather inspiration from (you can check my Pinterest.) I love making moodboards of their looks and styles so, I want to share my favorite 7 most stylish fictional characters.

I haven’t done a fashion video in a while and since I haven’t had anywhere to go, my style has been lacking! However, this post should put me back in a good fashion mindset and give us all some inspo for post quarantine.

Fran Fine

“Its the nanny!” Okay, you can not possibly start off your list without (in my opinion) the most fashionable nanny and character ever. Fran’s style is so iconic that women today still channel her looks. From her mom jeans, cat-eye shades, and faux fur coats, to her two-piece mini skirt suits– they are perfect!

My favorite part of Fran’s fashion was how diverse and bold it was. She could wear any outfit whether it was dressed up or down and make it look sexy and luxurious. Her looks are what I aim for. I never used to wear skirts in the winter but she made sweaters, a-line skirts and thigh-high boots a staple.

Carrie Bradshaw

Face it, we all wanted Manolo heels. In my opinion, I definitely think Carrie’s style was so iconic and staple that it was one of the top reasons Sex & The City was so popular.

Even though I was super young when the show aired, I still loved daydreaming about her outfits. Her style was girly but sophisticated and I would definitely wear most of her clothing now.

Ashley Banks

Everyone always talks about Hillary’s looks but, I definitely loved Ashley’s style much more. Hillary’s looks were a little too dressy and “sexy politician” for me. I could deal with a cute two-piece suit once a week but every day? No. Ashley’s looks balanced between mom jeans and crop tops to skirts and cute blouses. That is more of my style.

Another thing I loved was she made suspenders and turtlenecks fashion! A lot of people used to think those were “nerdy” looks up until recently but Ashley made them staple back in the 90s.

Denise Huxtable

I love Lisa Bonet and she definitely owned her character as Denise Huxtable. Lisa definitely brought her own taste into the character and it was very 90s “esque.” She pulled off baggy jeans, flannels, oversized, multiple patterns, and much more. Its what made me like grunge and “natural” look.

Rachel Green

When it comes to Rachel, her fashion is always overshadowed by her relationship was Ross. Rachel’s fashion is definitely one that was under-appreciated and is now picking up traction on social media. Her fashion was very late 90s and a good blend of girly and sexy.

Zoey Johnson

I mean, Zoey is a fashion student after all. Zoey’s looks are what I would characterize as different and out there but, they still look amazing. It’s like what Disney tried to do with Zendaya on Shake It Up but better. From her hairstyles to the funky patterns, it reminds me of Traces Ellis Ross and Solange’s everyday looks.

A lot of people compare her style to Denise and it makes sense since they’ve done an ode to A Different World

Lisa Turtle

With the new Saved By The Bell reboot, I am upset that Lark Voorhies won’t be reprising her role as the super stylish 80s Lisa Turtle. Saved By The Bell is definitely one of my favorite shows and Lisa was all around amazing, from her outfits, hair, and personality. I’m not very big on 80s fashion but she made me like it.

Her looks were very 80s chic. My style is a little more minimal and fewer colors than the 80s liked but I could channel a few outfits.
