I love testing out new skincare products and honestly just buying them. I have a thing for aesthetics and if a product looks pleasing to the eye, I’ll just buy it for that reason. Before quarantine, I bought some skincare products from Primark because why not? The Primark in Madrid is like a wonderland, filled with so many items. So, after some use, I will be giving you a Primark vitamin c skincare products review!
I know a lot of people have their feelings about using Primark’s skincare and makeup brands because its Primark or whatever but, I have no problem testing things out! This is also isn’t my first time using this a Primark product, I’ve used their charcoal cleanser (which I think is great) and you can read that post here. Alright, let’s get into it!
First, let’s talk about the Energizing Jelly Cleanser. This cleanser is very exfoliating and “beady.” The beady feel didn’t feel harsh on my skin and it had that sort of cool, refreshing feel to it. The consistency is also great and a good amount goes a long way.
But, I won’t be continuing to use this product because after testing it for a few days then stopping then testing again, I realized that it made me break out. A day or two after using it, I would notice I had a random pimple on my chin or forehead and then a couple little baby pimples on my cheeks.
The first time using it, I thought that maybe it was because it was a new product or because I had also started my period but then the second time I went to test it (about a week or two later) I noticed the same reaction. That’s a no for me dawg. Maybe it’ll be different for your skin if you decide to test it out but for me, I am good.
Revitalizing Bubble Sheet Mask
I love face masks and I don’t think most are harsh for the skin, other than peel-off masks. Peel-off masks, in my opinion, are terrible for the skin because it honestly feels like it is ripping your skin off. Bubble sheet masks are amazing and cleansing all in one.
I loved this mask because of the foaming and the tingling I could feel on my skin. It definitely was penetrating to the skin and after washing it off, my skin was so soft!
I will say that the foam was extremely excessive and I found that to be annoying because I kept having to clean it up. When I’m doing a face mask, I like to. make that time relaxing and comfortable
Reviving Face Mist
I actually really like this mist. I’ve been using it as a toner since we’re on lockdown and there aren’t any skincare shops opened, I can’t buy a new one. But, it feels great in my opinion and it actually makes my face feel moisturized and not dry. Plus it has a nice smell.
I haven’t seen anything wrong with it and I know that it isn’t making me break out since I still continued to use it after stopping the cleanser. I will say that when you spray a lot, it feels kind of sticky or thick.
Babaria Vitamin C Serum
This is not by Primark but, it is still a vitamin c product. I got this from Carrefour because I needed a serum and living in a new country, everything is trial and error. In this case, there wasn’t any error.
I really like this product and girl, it makes me glow!!! It honestly is as thick and moisturizing as a moisturizer and I hundred percent believe it has helped in my skin’s health. My skin doesn’t feel dry anymore but rather feels a lot more smooth.
