Hey! Did you miss me? I missed you – welcome back to another post!
Today’s post is all about MEET BLUME! (NOT SPONSORED) Meet Blume is an organic, vegan, and cruelty-free company; that sells period products as well as skin and self-care. Now, I’m all about natural and wellness products so, I was super excited to try out this brand!
They have deodorant, face wash, acne treatment, pads, tampons and a box subscription (which I think is super cool!) The monthly box subscription comes with whatever you decide to add – from period products to skin care. Also, you can schedule how many times you want it to be delivered and, it can be cancelled at any time.
So, my boyfriend actually introduced me to this brand, after he got me some products as a graduation gift and I’ve been loving it so far. He bought me the Day Dreamer face wash, the acne serum called Meltdown and the oil roll on for cramps called Cloud 9! (it also came with a 30-day self-care challenge calendar and an amethyst stone jade roller ooouuu!) The products come in cute little pink and white packages (I love their cute, minimal aesthetic) and in a bigger box altogether.
I started using them for a little over three weeks and how funny is it that the day I got the gifts were the same day my period came so it was the perfect time to use them. Obviously, the first product I tested out was the oil roll on and it honestly worked. With the roll on, the directions say to roll it onto your abdomen ten times (I probably did more lol.) I personally use essential oils daily so I’m not a stranger to products like these so I wasn’t as surprised that it worked. I think I was more surprised at how quickly it worked and that I could feel myself calming after applying it. It probably took 5-10 minutes to kick in and my cramps were basically gone. I’d get a little feeling but it wasn’t intense whatsoever.
The next product; Day Dreamer is currently my everyday face wash at the moment and its pretty good. The texture is sort of like the creamy, lotion type of cleanser and I’m honestly not the biggest fan of those type of face washes but this does its job. It cleans my face and keeps it blemish free. The only downside I have is that it’s a little too sensitive for me and I personally like scrubs and cleansers that leave a fresh, minty feel on my face but as I said, this product still does a good job.
Now the last product is Meltdown……which is my FAV! I love meltdown because it REALLY works! Sometimes you use an acne spot treatment or something similar and it doesn’t work but this thing did! I rubbed it where I felt a pimple and where I had dark spots and voila! I woke up to the blemishes either gone or shrunken. I never had a spot treatment actually do what it was supposed to that quickly.
Overall, I give this brand 4.5 out of 5 stars (only because the texture of the face wash isn’t my favorite) and recommend others to test it out. I do plan on trying out the organic tampons and pads because I have been wanting to switch out my products and from experience, a ton of companies put dangerous chemicals in feminine hygiene products and vaginal health is SUPER important. So, I’ll let you guys know how it all goes.
Heres a quick pick of the calendar!
Let me know what other products you want me to review!
