Ultimate Guide To A Weekend In Paris, France

Ultimate Guide To A Weekend In Paris, France

Hello, beautiful people! Today’s post is all about my weekend in Paris. I went to Paris for Valentine’s Day because, cliche obviously and, it was such an amazing trip! So, I want to share with you all my ultimate guide to a weekend in Paris, France.

I love traveling, exploring and having the time of my life in new cities and this was my time in France. I was super excited so, lets get into the details and all the fun I had.

Thursday February 13th

Our flight was at 8 pm, Thursday night and it was only two hours from Madrid. The flight was easy, quick, and I watched To All The Boys 2 and ate a sandwich. We arrived in France around 10:30 pm, at the Orly airport and after some confusion, we finally made it to our Airbnb and literally fell asleep.

Our Airbnb was so cute, clean and homey. It was in a home, hosted by an older couple, who lived on the first floor while letting travelers stay on the second floor. The second floor had a bathroom, bedrooms, and a nice balcony and, we were able to use the kitchen if needed.

Friday February 14th

Friday was the best and most jammed packed day during this trip. We woke up around 8 am and started our day. After getting ready and figuring out where we wanted to start the day, we left around 11 am and went to Paris.

Since our airbnb was close to the airport in Orly, we had to take the metro to Paris, which was about an hour and a half ride but, it was nice seeing the sights and the everyday locals. Once in Paris, we went to find food immediately! We hadn’t eaten since our sandwiches on the flight and we luckily found a really nice restaurant after walking around. Our meals were so great and yummy!

After eating, we hopped back on the train and headed to the Eiffel Tower. It was about 2 pm now and the city wasn’t jammed packed. There was a nice flow of people walking around.

At the Eiffel Tower, we obviously acted like tourists and took a ton of photos, took photos for other people, got stopped by street sellers and had a great time!

From there, we went and saw other monuments such as the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and walked through the city center and saw all the cool shops.

Towards the night, we went to a restaurant called and ate dinner. It was a nice ambiance and the food was good. Afterward, we headed back to our Airbnb and called it a night.

Saturday, February 15th

Saturday was literally spent at the Louvre Museum. No jokes, I think we arrived at 1 pm and left during closing at 6 pm. At that point, we honestly couldn’t visit anywhere else.

Since we had an early flight Sunday morning, our Saturday morning was spent packing up and taking our luggage to a holding center. As I said, our Airbnb was about an hour out of the city.

We ate at a quick little cafe at the train station called before heading to the museum. The museum was an amazing experience and it was so packed. We were able to see everything we wanted and just being immersed in so much history was great.

Yes, I added this to my instagram and played Viva La Vida

Ps, the line to the Mona Lisa is extremely long so, be prepared.

Oh, and I kept making and documenting Beyonce references since she did film her Apesh*t video at the museum!

After the museum, we headed to a Mexican restaurant that was a little like Chipotle and the food was good. The customer service not so much and the price of everything was a little ridiculous but, we enjoyed our meal. We then went to a very popular ice cream shop and it was so yummy!

We ended our night by going to see Birds of Prey (which was good) before heading back to the hotel that held our luggage. We stayed there for about 2 hours before heading to the airport!

Sunday February 16th

We got back to Madrid around 9 am and literally slept all day. Well, first I grabbed some Dunkin Donuts that really hit the spot.

Paris was amazing, gorgeous and so much fun, I would live there. I had a great time and would love to go back. I definitely think you need more than a weekend to see everything Paris and France has to offer since there’s so much we missed. But, its definitely doable if you plan your weekend out!

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you’ve been to Paris or are planning to go, leave me a comment!
