Happy new month, beautiful people! If you didn’t get my latest email then you’re out of the loop! For the month of February, I will be doing another blog post series! Since February is the month of love and liberty, I decided that I will be sharing posts on both Valentine’s Day and Black History Month, and to start it out, I am sharing 7 winter getaways in New England! As I said, it is the month of love and a romantic getaway is definitely needed.
I may not be the biggest fan of winter but boy do I love those winter vacations and right now, I need an escape! But, there is just something nice about getting away and going to a cute little cabin in the woods or to a ski resort. Even if you can’t ski or snowboard, you can still give it a try or be the person who just sits by the campfire the entire trip. I’ve been having the travel bug and feeling the need to book it out of the country but since we are in a pandemic, it’s better we all stay safe and enjoy life from the confinements of our states. So, if you live in the New England area, here are 7 winter getaways in New England!
New England in my opinion has some of the best winter trip locations because we have Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and other perfect snowy and mountain-filled areas. Seriously, there are so many mountains and resorts all over the states that you don’t need to book a flight or drive too far.
Each of the locations on this list are winter resorts; where you can either ski, snowboard, or play in the snow! On top of fun winter activities, you can do spa days, have beautiful dinners with amazing drinks, and cozy up by their many fireplaces. Another great thing about this list is that they’re in multiple locations across New England! You could come to Mass and extend your trip by going shopping on Newbury or you could spend a day in the heart of Maine and visit the ports!
This resort is perfect if you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing weekend away from reality! They have spacious and gorgeous guest rooms, suites, cottages, an amazing restaurant (plus an option for private dining) and a ton of excursions for all family members and furry friends!
This farm is known for their beautiful winter weddings but it’s also a great getaway if you’re in the mood to ski and snowboard! Hey, you could even book it for a pre wedding day getaway with your bridal party!
This inn is known for its food and the fact that it is in the heart of Vermont! If you’re traveling to Vermont and looking for a place to stay, I think this location will be great! The mountains are also right by; where you’re able to enjoy the trails– walking or horse back riding!
This bed and breakfast is super cute, relaxing, and enjoyable! Not only do they have hot tubs, fireplaces, and beautiful views, they make you a lovely homemade breakfast every morning! How great is that?
The White mountains are very popular and everyone comes to ski and snowboard here! If you’re looking to simply enjoy some winter activities, this is the place for you.
This is another resort that is perfect for a family ski trip! They also provide lessons for those who are interested! Maybe take a chance and head out there.
Not only is this place perfect for winter activities, it’s also a year round waterpark location! Imagine skiing then coming back in and sliding down some water slides? It’s perfect for the whole family.
