Christmas time can not be complete without Christmas songs and carols. I love music, it’s like a form of therapy to me and I can’t go a day without listening to it.
- Carol of The Bells
You know your entire body goes into a different dimension when you hear this song. It’s the chorus, the sopranos, and altos blending, the haunting-ness of it– It’s my all-time favorite Christmas song and no matter who sings it, it still sounds amazing.
- All I Want Is You – Justin Bieber Under The Mistletoe
When Justin Bieber released this album back in 2013, I fell in love with it! I was a huge belieber back in high school and loved anything he did. This particular song is one of the most underrated songs on the album and it’s wonderful. I believe it was written in the midst of the one and off again romance of Jelena and it’s just that perfect moody Christmas love song.
- Lights On – Tyler, The Creator Grinch Soundtrack
Tyler is one of my favorite artists and this soundtrack to the animated Grinch movie is amazing! This song is just a vibe, I think it’s the chorus that gets me in a grove. The whole album is very Tyler but also a Christmassy soul vibe.
- December – Ariana Grande Christmas & Chill
Christmas and chill is a great title! It just sounds like you’re supposed to play it and get into the mood to chill and dance. Ariana is an amazing artist and these songs aren’t your traditional Christmas tracks, they’re different and perfect.
- Mary Did You Know – Pentatonix That’s Christmas to Me
Pentatonix is an amazing and talented group. I love listening to any song they create. Mary Did You Know is such a beautiful classic Christmas song that takes me back to church plays. I don’t know why but I love the song and lyrics.
- Santa Baby – Eartha Kitt
This song is a classic and the even more classic Eartha Kitt sings it wonderfully. Eartha’s voice is so cute and perfect for these lyrics. I feel like dressing up in a Mrs. Clause costume and dancing to this song.
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas – Frank Sinatra A Jolly Christmas
Frank Sinatra is one of my favorites and this album is beautiful. The songs on this album are classic Christmas carols but Frank sings them so beautifully. It’s such a jazz Christmas album and I love it. This song also makes me feel nostalgic and touches my heart.
- Winter Wonderland – Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga
Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga made a joint album a few years ago and I love it! I love jazz and 50s music and this song give that fun Christmas party vibe. I love their rendition of this classic song.
- All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey Merry Christmas
This song needs no introduction! Every household, store, and radio station plays this song on November 1st. This song is the Christmas song and I can’t complain. I never get tired of it and do fall victim to playing it when I feel Christmas creeping up.
- Last Christmas – Wham!
This song is like the best Christmas romance movie song. I think of a female character boarding her flight as the main male character runs through the airport trying to find her. Then he does and says “Jane Doe, you’re my Christmas wish” and they kiss. It’s such a feel-good song and I love it. Puts me in a good mood.
