2 Ways To Style Streetstyle Outfits -

I looove streetwear fashion. It’s casual but chic and you can make a dressed down, simple look, look very high end by using the right pieces and colors. When I’m styling a streetwear outfit, I like to do a lot of nudes, earth tones and grab a pair of sunglasses. You don’t need to go extra and layer different pieces– just grab some sneakers, a coat, and a cool top. Here are 2 Ways To Style Streetstyle Outfits.

Now, let me show you exactly what I mean. Just an fyi, these are my thoughts on what I think streetwear is and means. Remember, fashion is subjective.

Okay, both of these outfits contain basics, nudes, and simple pieces and thats honestly the key to a great streetwear look. As I said, sunglasses, sneakers, a coat…voila.

For the top, you need something basic, plain or you could do a graphic that has one word or a picture of a pop culture icon. Something that won’t take over and outshine. Next, for your pants, usually, something that isn’t a pair of light jeans works because remember, it’s casual chic. I personally love wearing a pair of plain high waisted pants.

For a bag, something small, quaint and is one color works best. I love fanny packs and always try to style it into my look. Lastly, sneakers are the best when it comes to streetwear since they’re the most casual. One color or simple two toned colors work the best.

Also, a quick tip for streetwear photography; make it look “cool.” Do a pose you normally wouldn’t and use whatever is around you. Take a look at my pics below!

Lets dissect the looks!

For my darker look, I wore a plain black Turtleneck that I got from H&M for about 10 USD and my pants are high waisted from Goodwill. They’re two of my favorite wardrobe pieces.

My coat is your basic camel from Primark, that cost about 35 USD. My purse and sunglasses are from Lefties; a clothing store in Madrid, Spain and together cost around 10 euro.

For my lighter, more earthy tone outfit, its basically all thrifted. My turtleneck is actually a hand me down from my sister, that I’ve had for yeearsss! Its so cute and I don’t plan on giving it up any time soon.

My pants are thrifted as well, from Goodwill I believe. My cardigan is from Forever 21 and cost under 20 USD, my sneakers are from Primark and they were only 14 euro! So cheap and cute right? And lastly, my sunglasses are from H&M and were around 3.50 USD.

Honestly, as I contnue to write fashion posts, I realize that I have a lot of thrifted items and clothing from years ago. But hey, broke and bougie right?
