Christmas is almost here and if you don’t have a tree…boo, what are you doing? Get it together.
I absolutely love Christmas! You know they say that when you age, things just feel different? It’s true. As a child, Christmas was about presents but now, I just live for the corniness and jolly-ness of it all!
The decoration, the tree, the food and, movies– it’s just fun now as an adult. I swear, I can’t wait to bake and make weird crafts with my future children and watch them run down the stairs on Christmas morning (while we’re all in matching onesies of course #stylin.)
So, with that being said, I definitely got into the Christmas spirit this year, and decorated around because why not? ‘Tis the season to be jolly!
Now, I didn’t go ham and decorate every inch of my apartment but I made sure to make it a little festive by simply decorating the living room with the tree, garlands and random little sticky things on the balcony doors.
The tree I got is 6 feet tall and coat 14€ at Carrefour! An absolute steal girl. I went for the red and gold vibe…basic I know. But at least I got the Rosè all day ornament on deck.
I put garland on the center table, just to spruce things up and also the window. Also, I added these Christmas plants that I have been watering every day. I’ll pat myself on the back for that.
I also put lights around that are rainbow multicolor and this cute light up deer head. The room gets pretty bright at night.
Next are these cute sticky posters. Okay….I thought they were for walls but they’re actually for windows so, I ended up just sticking them to the outside of the balcony doors. I couldn’t get a decent photo because they kinda keep falling…
Lastly, I got some Santa pillowcases! They’re nothing special and Santa is horizontal for some reason (they were cheap) but hey, Christmas!
