Hello beautiful people, welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is all about picnics! My boyfriend’s birthday was a few days ago and we celebrated some of it by having a nice picnic by the Charles River.
Picnics are so underrated and I believe it should be a summer ritual! So, if you’re planning to have a picnic or the thought has crossed your mind, continue reading and you’ll definitely want to have one.
Basket
Yes, you need a basket or some sort of carrying “device” because, where else are you going to store your items? My boyfriend’s parents got him this basket and you can easily find one at your local thrift store!
Blanket
Can’t just sit on your butt! A blanket is very necessary and something we forgot, pillows! The blanket helps but the ground is still very hard so, bring some pillows as well.
Food, Utensils, Napkins, etc.
You know how certain events have certain foods? Like you go to a fair and you get cotton candy and candy apples or, a cookout, you eat burgers and corn on the cob. Picnics are the same and, you need proper picnic food. So, sandwiches, fruit, cheese and crackers, and others of that sort.
Speaker
Music is always good! Food and music are always a good vibe.
